A Mass-Produced First

The Prius is well known as one of the first hybrid vehicles available on the market. It drives like a conventional vehicle but is amazingly fuel efficient, generating a mere 4.5 L/100 km (combined city and highway). It has a bold exterior and sleek interior, making it look like a modern conventional vehicle. The Prius features state-of-the-art technology such as Toyota Safety Sense, which consists of six advanced safety systems working together so you can drive confidently in any condition.

Next Level Technology

The Mirai uses fuel cell technology to power its electric motor so it requires no gasoline and produces zero emissions. It features an optional “power take off” device that can power home essentials for up to a week in the event of a power outage. The Mirai is the world’s first mass-produced hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, which works by combining hydrogen gas with oxygen to power the electric motor. Its performance rivals any conventional gasoline vehicle.

Future Toyota Hybrid Vehicles

Toyota has announced that they intend to have a paired Hybrid available option for every vehicle in their lineup. While not necessarily transitioning away from gasoline engines altogether, hybrid availability will be made broadly across all Toyota manufactured vehicles.
